Price, Antony
   b. 1945
   Fashion designer
   Born in 1945, Price was at the forefront of British glamrock culture and style in the early 1970s. After studying at Bradford College of Art and working as a designer for Stirling Cooper and Plaza, he founded his own label in 1979. Price designed fashions for the stars of glam rock, notably Bryan Ferry and his band Roxy Music. His glamorous, impeccably cut designs in luxurious fabrics drew attention to themselves and to the wearer’s body, offering a combination of sophistication and sex appeal which flirted with but was never quite reduced to the fetishistic.
